President’s Corner – Oct. 2012

It’s October and what a busy month this is starting to be — an exciting one too.

Tuesday, Oct. 9th, Debbie, Ilda, and Vivian and I are off to help “Rock Memphis” at the National Conference. Over 600 are registered and the conference is sold out!!! In November be sure to be at our meeting for “What Happened in Memphis Doesn’t Stay There!

But first we have our country’s National Election. At our meeting this month we have an opportunity to learn both sides of the important propositions on the ballot with our speaker from the League of Women Voters. Come, learn and be an informed voter.

But most of all VOTE.

Also, remember to bring your donations for the Christmas Party this month if at all possible. This will help us know what gifts we have and not have any last minute rush. Thank you for your help.

These next few months of the year are always busy and we find ourselves rushing around.

But please, stop and enjoy the season and
your family and friends.

See you Oct. 17th. Invite a friend,

Carol
President
